Is your home eligible?
We wish we could serve every Oregon home from day one, but we need to start somewhere. At this time, CEWO is able to serve homes that meet the following minimum criteria:
- Located in Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Crook, Deschutes, Hood River, Jackson, Josephine, Jefferson, Klamath, Lake, Lane, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Tillamook, Washington or Yamhill County
- Owned and occupied by you
- Built before 1993
- Single-family, detached structure (mobile homes, townhouses or other multi-family dwellings are not yet eligible)
In Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington Counties your home must currently (or upon completing CEWO*) be heated with electricity or natural gas from NW Natural, Pacific Power or Portland General Electric
Final application approval depends on financial information, such as income, credit score and utility bill payment history. Final acceptance into CEWO is also contingent upon your free 100 Point Performance Check projecting that energy upgrades will result in energy savings of at least 15%.
If Your Home is Not Eligible
If your home is not eligible or you don’t think Clean Energy Works Oregon is right for you, a more energy efficient and comfortable home can still be yours. There are programs to help homeowners in almost any situation. Don’t need financing? There’s an option for that. Not sure you can afford energy efficiency upgrades? There’s an option for that too. Start by exploring your options here.
*Conversions from oil heat may lengthen your qualification process, are subject to utility approval and may not be feasible for all applicants.
